Where do we learn about Manhood and why are 75 per cent of all suicides carried out in the UK male?

What is it to be a fully realized mature and authentic Man? And where are our present role models for this?

For many of us, the answers to these questions remain a mystery. We have had to grow up fending for our selfs and hoping for the best. Many of our fathers were not there. Or if they were, maybe they were emotionally unavailable, critical, and even abusive. Maybe we learnt that other men were a threat, who we had to ‘compete’ with, at all costs. Not to be trusted. We learnt to “be strong”, to “be tough” and “man up”!!!

The reason for joining a Men’s group is to have a different experience of ourselves as men. To realize that we are not alone. That our vulnerability is our strength, not our weakness. That this vulnerability is a deeper connection with ourselves, others and to the world at large.

Once a safe, committed circle of men is established then we can deeply share our wounds, meaningful unexpressed thoughts and feelings, which when witnessed by others, can be completed and healed. For every healing change we experience, the relationships and the world around us will also change.

In a Men’s group not only will you meet the best in us, but you will also begin to meet your shadow. That is the aspects of the self that gets in the way of fulfilled relationships & life.

You will have the opportunity to see how your behavior in the group mirrors how you behave in other important relationships in your life.

You will have an opportunity challenge these patterns of behavior in a supportive environment.

You will have the opportunity to develop deep and lasting friendships that will be supportive for the rest of your life.

You will be able begin to forge, feel and discover your true purpose, which is not necessarily about having a successful career!!

As we do this work, we can begin to feel the joy, love and the beauty of connection to ourselves and other men. And not take our selves too seriously!!!

The group will be lead by Aaron Swartz & Lee Preisler. We have both had our crisis’s, ups & downs and have learnt that with the support of other Men we can change our lives for the better and become the greater men that we only ever dreamed of.

Together we bring over 40 years experience of running groups and working with Men, from The Findhorn Community to A Band of Brothers. Our intention is to serve each and every member of the group, and to enable each man to more fully realize his potential.

We know how to create the safety necessary to enable men to risk expressing their deepest truths.

In order to create the strong and safe container of the circle, we ask for a commitment to at least 3 months. ( approximately 12 meetings). This is very important to able to build the trust and safety needed to be vulnerable and do the work.

The group will be limited to 12 men.

It runs regularly on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm - 9:30pm.

Commitment to the three months, includes the financial commitment for the entire period of 3 months, wether you attend a meeting or not.
Cost : £300 (£25 per session )

This can be paid in one lump sum or in three instalments.

We invite you to join us.
